Lexington Health and Safety Fair
Saturday March 3, 9a-1p
Rosenwald Community Learning Center, 420 Hendrix Street
Event co-sponsored by Lexington Presbyterian, Pleasant Hill Baptist, St Paul Missionary Baptist, Mt Olive CME, Lake Murray Baptist and New Bethel AME Churches.
There will be activities for all ages including FREE screenings, resources, entertainment, food and games!
Free screening for Diabetes and Prostate Cancer (PSA) need to be scheduled by contacting Anita Boland at .
The fair is open to everyone in the community, so they are welcome to participate in the screenings.
If you have clothing items to donate there will be boxes in the AEB and the Children’s building.
We are also asking for volunteers to serve at the fair. We need volunteers for the following shifts: Friday March 2 3:30-5 pm for set up, Saturday March 3 8:00 - 11:00 or 11:00 -2:00 (this shift will include time to help clean up).
Jobs needed to fill: floater, greeter, assist vendors and help distribute food boxes, registration tables/snacks, floater nurse, photographer, parking lot attendants, kids’ activities inside and outside, blood pressures, translator. Please be flexible as some jobs may be filled and you will be asked to help in a different area.
