David is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio but has spent most of his life in the Carolinas. David graduated from North Greenville University in 2008, with a B.A. in Communications, and received his Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. David came to Lake Murray in June of 2015. David is married to Allyson and they have three sons, Titus, Max, and Silas as well as a daughter, Myers. He enjoys time with his family, reading great books, watching good movies, and playing mediocre basketball.
Tony was born in Corpus Cristi, TX. He graduated from Ohio State University with a BS in Civil Engineering. He is the transportation department manager at Mead/Hunt in Lexington, SC. Tony has been married to Shauna for 21 years and they have six kids, Daniel, Evan, Jonathan, Jacob, Alaina, and Hudson. Tony enjoys building projects, reading, playing Uno, and swimming with his kids.
David was born and raised in Rock Hill, SC. David graduated from Clemson University in 2013 with a B.A. in Communication Studies. He graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity in Christian Ministry in December 2016. David met his wife, Katie, through Baptist Collegiate Ministries while she was attending North Greenville University and they were married in November 2014. David has a passion to see people grow deep in their relationship with Christ and be mobilized for mission in whatever setting God has placed them.
Justin was born in Lexington, SC. He graduated from North Greenville University with a BA in Christian Studies, John Brown University with an MS in Marriage and Family Therapy, and Florida State University with a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy. Justin has been married to Rossie for 16 years and they have two kids, Caleb and Joshua. Justin enjoys the Carolina Gamecocks, hunting, and being outside playing with his boys. As a family they enjoy travelling, watching college spots, and watching the boys play soccer.
Betsy grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina, but has called Lexington home for more than 25 years. She attended Midlands Technical College. Betsy brings strength in administration and problem solving along with a heart to serve children and families to her position. She finds great joy in seeing children grow in their knowledge of the Lord and understanding of the Gospel. Betsy and her husband, Chip, were married in 1993 and have 3 children, Ben, Ashley, and Owen.
Kaleb was born in Orangeburg, SC but moved to Gilbert, SC at a young age. Kaleb is a graduate of Midlands Technical College. He comes to Lake Murray with over a decade of experience in the building automation industry, and hopes to use this experience to assist in improving operations here. Kaleb and his wife, Libbie, married in Charleston, SC in 2016. Together they have a son, Luke, and a daughter, Harper.
Wendy grew up in Darlington, SC, and moved to Columbia to attend the University of South Carolina. She graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and obtained her CPA license in 1999. Wendy married her high school sweetheart, Robbie, and they have two sons: Dylan and Clayton
Sandy grew up in Leesville SC. She graduated from Aiken Technical College with a diploma in Early Child Development. In 1993 Sandy married her high school sweetheart Ken. They have 3 children together. Sandy has been a member of Lake Murray Baptist Church since 2003. Where she has been a part of the Kids and Student ministry programs through the years.
Nikki grew up in Irmo, SC. She attended the University of South Carolina, graduating in 2006 with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications. She married her husband, Jason, in 2010, and they have two sons, Carter and Davis. Outside of work, Nikki enjoys spending time with her family watching football, listening to a good playlist, hiking, and traveling. You'll often find her hunting down a cup of coffee or at a ball field cheering on her kiddos in soccer and baseball. Nikki is excited to share in the mission and work of Lake Murray Baptist and to see others moved to life with Christ.
Matt was born in Lexington, SC and lived there until 2018 when he moved to Louisville, KY to attend Southern Seminary. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina graduated with his Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2023. Matt and his wife Samantha were married in September 2020 and welcomed daughter Nora in November 2022. Matt is passionate about teaching the Bible and making disciples who go on to make disciples. He enjoys spending time at coffee shops reading and spending time with his wife Samantha.
Dylan was born and raised in Seneca, SC. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Clemson University before furthering his education at Columbia International University, where he earned a Masters degree in Clinical Counseling. Throughout this time, he had opportunities to minister to others through teaching God’s Word and leading worship. Dylan is husband to Kristen and father to Lola, Bennie, and El. As a family, they love exploring the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Meredith grew up in Chester, SC. She has been in public education for the past 12 years as a fifth-grade teacher, assistant principal, and student intern supervisor at the University of South Carolina. Meredith and her husband, Brooks, were married in 2005 and have 3 children, Michael Mae, Anna and West. They have lived in Lexington since 2008 and are members of Lexington Baptist Church. Meredith loves spending time with her family, meeting with her small group for Bible study, exercising, and being outside.
Libbie is from Richmond, Virginia, but she moved to South Carolina to attend the University of South Carolina in 2010. During this time she met her now husband, Kaleb, and they got married before she graduated with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Libbie worked as a Kindergarten teacher until she had their second child. After spending time at home with Luke and Harper, Libbie is now using her knowledge and experience with children to help further the mission of Lake Murray Baptist Church. Libbie loves to spend time with her family, read, and do any sort of creative craft. You will most likely see her with some sort of iced coffee or a Diet Coke. Libbie is passionate about Lake Murray Kids; a ministry designed to love, serve, and teach while equipping parents to disciple children in a Gospel-centered way.
